A K Architecture listens carefully to its clients’ and end-users’ visions and needs, and brings them to reality in the final built product. Each project is uniquely fit to its site and suited to its function.

The design work that A K Architecture has produced since the firm was formed in 1991 includes award-winning multi-use community and recreation facilities, early childhood education centers, health facilities, exterior public spaces, affordable housing, and private residences. Renamed in 2006, A K Architecture was previously known as Armstrong Kaulbach Architects.

AKA’s design services include acting as facilitators in early program development and site selection, feasibility studies, master planning, preliminary design through design development, construction documentation and construction administration. Firm Principal, Lisa Armstrong, AIA, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and sustainability is an important goal in the firm’s work.
