Wilmot and Cloud Street AFFORDABLE Homes
A K Architecture worked with the Frankford Community Development Corporation to design this cluster of new homes in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. First, AKA conducted an extensive contextual analysis of the Frankford house types before developing an affordable twin house prototype that reinforces the pre-existing building fabric and street pattern. The construction of nineteen affordable homes is complete and eleven more homes are completed through construction bid documents
